FLORENCE (ROTH) MCTIMMONDS Sept 10, 1921 --Jan 21, 2001 Florence (Roth) McTimmonds, 79, of Albany, died Sunday. She was born in Albany, the daughter of Chris and Mary (Schlegel) Roth. She attended Albany Schools and Married Leland McTimmonds Feb 23,1941, in Albany. The couple made their first home in Sheridan and , from 1955 to 1999, lived in Grants Pass. Mrs. McTimmonds worked many years as a secretary for M & Y Lumber Co. of Grants Pass. She was known as a good home maker who enjoyed taking care of her family. She liked raising flowers and sewing and other needlework. She especially enjoyed her Grandchildren. Mrs. McTimmonds is survived by Leland, her husband of nearly 60 years, Also surviving are son Terry of Snohomish,Washington; daughter Marcia Lovejoy of Cave Junction; brother Norman Roth of Albany; sisters Gladys Stutzman, Violet Schrock, Grace Headings, Della Steckly, Mildred Steckly, and Marian Mitchell, all of Albany, and four grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters died earlier. Viewing will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Huston -Jost Funeral Home. Mrs. McTimmonds funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fairview Mennonite Church in Albany. Burial will be at the Fairview Mennonite Cemetery.
