She was 75 years old. She was born in North Branch Mich, Sept 19, 1882, and was married in Ainsworth, Nebr., to Charles E. Merrill in 1906. He died in 1954. Mrs. Merrill, a resident of Holley for 15 years, was a member of the Church of God and of Holley Grange. Survivors are her daughter and son, Charles L. Merrill of Sweet Home; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. Funeral services at 2pm Friday will be conducted by the Rev. Rudolph Hoffner of Harrisburg. Burial will be in the Union cemetery at Crawfordsville. Tracewell Funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

The funeral will be at the Huston Chapel, Lebanon, at 1:30 Wednesday aftenoon. Interment will be in the Crawfordsville union cemetery. Mr. Merrill was born in Cleveland, Ohio, Aug. 12 1879, the tenth of eleven children. He married Leona Case, at Ainsworth, Nebr., Sept 9 1906. He came to Sweet Home from Ainsworth in 1941 and has since resided on his farm near there. The deceased is survived by the widow , a son, Charles Leon Merrill, a daughter, Mrs Grace Williams, both of Sweet Home; 8 grandchildren, 49 nieces and nephews. One brother, Walter, survives in Omaha.

    3. Hi Beverly, Josephine Crabtree was a neice of Virginia Crabtree. She was the daughter of William, older brother of Virginia. I don't know anything about the Rose family, but would be interested in learning any details that you might share. Virginia died in 1871, less than a year after she was married to Thomas. Grisham - who married _________(?) Sylvester. I don't have any information on William Dibble. Emma E (Grisham) Dibble was b 18 Sep 1875; d 21 Mar 1961 and is buried at the IOOF Cem in Lebanon. I have some information on James Sylvester's family, but don't know how they are connected to the Sylvester that married Ethel Dibble. In 1960, Mrs. Ethel Sylvester was living in Lebanon.
