She was born Feb. 13, 1963 to Merwyn and Linda Roberts in Toledo. She attended Taconic Hills High School in Clavrack, N.Y. She lived in Toledo and was proud of becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. She was employed by Shangri-la and worked as a medical aid for the Benton House for the past four years. She was devoted to her patients and always strived to provide them with the best care. Her greatest accomplishment in her life was her children, Justin, Randy Jr., Adam and Angel. Justin, her eldest son, served in the U.S. Army for four and a half years and did two tours in Iraq. She fully embraced becoming an army mom. And Randy Jr. and Adam, her twin boys; and her daughter, Angel, have all made her life even more wonderful than she could have ever imagined. She was baptized and raised in the Lutheran Church. As a cervical cancer survivor, she believed that it was important to raise awareness and show support, not only to those afflicted with disease, but also to all of the friends and families who have been affected by it. For the past two years, she participated in the Relay for Life. Growing up on a farm in upstate New York inspired her to begin a collection of cows, which influenced the décor of her home. She always had a keen eye and was able to make the simplest thing a work of art, whether it was arranging flowers for her friends’ weddings or home, sewing or crocheting beautiful scarves, blankets and purses. Her main priority in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Marie Roberts; and her granddaughter, Faith Jade Cleveland. She is survived by her children, Justin (Kaira) Cleveland of Vancouver, Wash., Randy Jr. and Adam Cleveland of New York, and Angel Parker of Toledo, Ore.; brother, Ronald Roberts of Florida; father, Merwyn Roberts of Toledo; and uncles, Steve and Jerry Roberts, both of Toledo. A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 13 at her home, 392 SE Third St. in Toledo. Affordable Burial and Cremation in Newport is handling arrangements.
