Beck Ellen L. Beck, 50, of Toledo, Ore. died of cancer on March 19, 2010 at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1959 to A. Russell and Helen Rudisill in Idaho. She graduated from Toledo High School in 1977, and met her future husband Leroy Beck the same year. She worked in housekeeping and laundry when she was younger; and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for Yaquina Care Center and with the mentally and physically challenged residents of Toledo and Newport. She was also a caregiver for her husband after he had several accidents over the years. In her later years, she was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, A. Russell and Helen Rudisill; and her brother, A. Russell Rudisill Jr. aka Butchy. She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Leroy Beck; her daughter, Ella (Corey) Beck; brother Fred (Kelly) Rudisill; sister Eva (Marion) Hopper; grandchildren, BJ Spikes, Jennelle Potter, Keagan Beck and Allyson West; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of life service will be held at the family home on April 17. Bateman Funeral Home in Newport is handling arrangements.
