She was born Dec. 11, 1923 in Illinois. She worked in the medical field for many years. She was preceded in death by her son, Harold Miller Jr. She is survived by her companion of many years, Betty Hoffmaster, of Waldport; daughters, Shari Gierden, of Sandwich, Ill. and Jill Bernstein, of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Jack Krantz, of Glen Ellyn, Ill; and nine grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
