She was born in 1924 to Daniel and Laura (Moreno) Villa in Salinas, Calif. She joined the Navy in 1944 and received an honorable discharge in 1953. She was a graduate of a cosmetology college and became a beautician, which was her lifelong profession. She was the unofficial librarian for St. Augustine Catholic Church in Lincoln City and volunteered there exclusively. She was an avid reader and loved her dog, Mandy. She was preceded in death by her husband, Teddy Kinder. She is survived by her niece, Pamela Van Eikeren, of Bend. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 1139 NW Highway 101 in Lincoln City. A luncheon will follow the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial donation may be made to St. Augustine Catholic Church. Pacific View Memorial Chapel is handling arrangements.
