She was born June 28, 1928 to Otto and Clara Ballhorn in Rainier, Ore. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m., Saturday, April 17, at the Bateman Funeral Home Chapel, 915 NE Yaquina Heights Dr. in Newport. Following the service, a potluck dinner will be at the Toledo Elks, 123 SE Alder St. A full obituary will follow at a later date. Bateman Funeral Home in Newport is handling arrangements.
