Loew, 89 of Keizer died Nov. 13, 1997. She was born in Fargo, N.D. on June 20, 1908, and lived in Portland from 1946-1966. She lived in Salem until 1969, and then lived in Waldport until 1995, when she moved back to Salem. She managed a variety and drug store in Portland in the 1940s. She enjoyed fishing, gardening and needlework. She married Theodore J. Loew on May 23, 1946 in Vancouver, Washington. He preceded her in death on Oct. 18, 1997. She is survived by three sons, Calvin C. Palmer of Keizor, Ronald D. Palmer of Long Beach, CA, and Jon B. Palmer of Yuma, AZ; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Memorial services were held Monday at John Knox Presbyterian Church in Keizer. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the Willamette Valley, PO Box 13005, Salem, 97309. The Virgil T.
