She was born March 4, 1953 to William D. and Doris R. (Kowitz) Davis in Newport, Ore. She grew up in Waldport, Ore. and graduated from Waldport High School. In 1975, she married John Griffin and was the mother of Danny, Kenneth, Bruce and Bobby. She worked as a long haul truck driver. She enjoyed crafts and cooking. She was preceded in death by her father, William Davis. She is survived by her husband, John Griffin; sons, Danny, Kenneth, Bruce and Bobby; mother, Doris Klapprich; sisters, Karen Robertson, Cyndie Kalina and Billie Bustillos; and eight grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Sunnyside Park in Sweet Home, Ore. Sweet Home Funeral Chapel in Sweet Home is handling arrangements.
