Leader Toledo, OR Jan. 23, 1920 MRS. M. A. BOONE DIES Mrs. Morning A. Boone passed away at the home of her son, Victor, Inst. Monday morning, at the advanced age of 82. Death coming painlessly, and without any illness, the family finding her dead on her bed. Mrs. Boone is one of the pioneer residents of this county, she coming here with her husband, George Boone, in 1870, and settling on a homestead at Mill Four, and which is still known as the Boone place to this day. She was the mother of 12 children, nine of whom are still living. The remains were taken to Jacksonville yesterday, where she will be laid at rest by the side of her husband. (Jackson Co.) Several of Mrs. Boone's sons and families reside near this city and they have the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community in their said bereavement.
