She was born Nov. 1, 1934 to Michael Joseph Prendergast and Lucille Marie Brundidge-Fielden in Twin Falls, Idaho. She was raised in Elk City. She married Robert McConnell and they had three sons. She later married Bob Parrett, and they divorced. She worked as a bartender and a long haul truck driver. She was a member of the Elks Club. She enjoyed canning, cooking, and crocheting and won ribbons in the Lincoln County Fair. She also enjoyed playing in shuffleboard tournaments and her bowling league. She loved to go fishing with friends and family, and especially loved Elvis Presley. She was preceded in death by her sons, Robert Lesley McConnell, Dennis Clayton McConnell and Michael Edward McConnell; and her mother, Lucille Brundidge-Fielden. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Connie McConnell; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on May 22, 2010 in Elk City.
