She was 63. Lennis was born May 8, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaii, and was a talented stained glass and watercolor artist. She was an active member of the Lincoln City Cultural Center and Artists' Studio Association (ASA). Lennis is survived by her loving husband, John; her mother, Louise Dixon; sisters Debby Habberly and Cathy Watson; children Erin, John, Jennifer and McCloud; her grandchildren Brittany, Ashley, Owen and Quinn; and her daughters-in-law, Chris and Denise. A celebration service of her life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 2, at the Lincoln City Cultural Center. The Neptune Society will scatter her ashes at sea at Depoe Bay. Lennis was an avid supporter of Doctors without Borders and Habitat for Humanity. Donations to one of those organizations or the Cancer Society instead of flowers would please her greatly.
