She was born November 18, 1937 in Stockton, California to Lee and Margaret Walter. She married Roy Sjostrom, July 2, 1956 in Waldport, Oregon. They had three children; Dan Sjostrom, Tami Sjostrom and Randy Sjostrom(deceased). Betty was a homemaker and loved painting, gardening, sewing, quilting and was a great cook. She was loved by all the family. She is survived by her children Dan Sjostrom and his wife Sally of Toledo, Oregon and Tami Sjostrom of Salem, Oregon; her grandchildren Tina Garton, Arin Payne, Nevin, Kamron, Alair, Brenton, Jessica, and Tyler Sjostrom; and 5 great-grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Lee and Margaret Walter, her husband, Roy Sjostrom, her son, Randy Sjostrom (1998), daughter, Tina Marie (infant) and an infant son.
