Byerley John W. Byerley passed peacefully February 7, 2013. John had spent 85 years on "this ol' ball of dirt" at the time of his passing, born 7/20/1927, and lived for many years raising his family in Toledo, Oregon and working as the Southern Pacific Railroad agent. He is survived by his wife, Sally A. Byerley, daughter, Sherry J. Bittler, grandson Slade A. Bittler, sister Barbara Culbertson, and brothers Tom and David Byerley. John retired from the railroad in 1989 and moved to Terrebonne in Central Oregon where he spent many years enjoying retirement while, hunting, horseback riding, camping, working on his cars and spending time with his many friends and family from the coast, Central and Eastern Oregon. John enjoyed life to the fullest and we will all miss his whistling, singing, happy go lucky lifestyle. No services will be held at this time.
