She was eighty-nine. She was born on June 9th, 1924 in Anoka, Minnesota. Charlotte Married Melvin Stangel on June 18, 1946 at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Wilsonville, Or. Charlotte & Melvin moved to Toledo in 1948. Charlotte attended St. Patrick's and St. Mary's Catholic Churches, was a member of the Lady Elks, the Emblem Club and various other service organizations. She enjoyed volunteering, bowling & playing cards. Charlotte was preceded in death by her son: Joseph Stangel; her husband: Melvin Stangel and several brothers and sisters. Charlotte is survived by her son: Frank (Doris) Stangel; daughter: Mary(Robert) Buel; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held, 11am Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 231 E Logsden Road in Siletz.
