He was born April 4, 1975 to Bob and Glenda Healy in Independence, Kan. He graduated in 1993 from Taft High School in Lincoln City. He played football for the Taft Tigers as a senior. One year after he graduated, he was seriously injured in an auto accident on Highway 20, just east of Toledo, Ore. The accident left him permanently disabled, and he lived at Newport Rehabilitation, later moving to Lincoln City Rehabilitation. He loved all sports, especially football and basketball. He was also very artistic and loved to shoot pool. He is survived by his sisters, Kari, Elisabeth and Dawn; his brothers, Nathaniel and Garret; his niece Crystal; and nephews, Cameron, Justin, Corey and Cody. A celebration of life service will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on May 25 at Coast Vineyard Church, 1505 NE Sixth Drive in Lincoln City. The family invites everyone who remembers Glen to join them at any time during those hours to share memories of him and remember him with joy.
