After his retirement, he spent his time working with the Retired Seniors Volunteer Program and Meals on Wheels. He also served as a senior companion. He leaves behind a host of dear friends. He is survived by his wife, Agnes Barnes; daughter, Cheryl Barnes of San Francisco, Calif.; sister, Lola Tupper of Portland, Ore.; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, at Bayside Chapel, 145 NE Collins St. in Depoe Bay. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
