He was born Dec. 4, 1944 to William Freeman Boyd and Eunice Earl Boyd in Eugene, Ore. A service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 6 at The Lighthouse Vineyard Christian Fellowship, 704 SW Hurbert St. in Newport. Crown Memorial Center in Portland is handling arrangements.
