She was born April 6, 1927 to George and Elizabeth Russell Clark. When she was young, they moved to Otis, where she was raised and attended school. In 1945, she married Charlie Paul, who preceded her in death. She was director of the Retired Senior Volunteer Program in Newport before retiring. In addition, she worked at various jobs, including Lincoln County schools and the state parks. After retirement, she traveled with her husband and enjoyed being with her family and friends. After her husband's death, she moved to Pacific Homes Beach Club and enjoyed the community activities with her many friends. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela Propp of Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Darlene Noteboom of Lincoln City; son, Darrell Paul of Newport; grandchildren, Jeremy, Laura, Allison, Amina Aisha, Imran, Stefanie, Eric, Lynette and Robert; and four great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Jan. 9, 2010 at Pacific Homes Beach Club clubhouse, 3339 NE Avery, in Newport.
