She was born Nov. 20, 1913 to Kenyon Robert Keys and Amma A. (Lochabay) Keys in O'Brien, Texas. She graduated from high school in O'Brien, and later married Virgil Johnson in 1932 in Shamrock, Texas. They had three children, Byron, Clo and Joy, while living in Shamrock, and their daughter, Sue, was born in Waldport. Virgil died in 1949. She married Robert Faust on Nov. 24, 1951, and he died in 1978. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing and quilting, and was a member of the Worldwide Church of God. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Virgil Johnson; her second husband, Robert M. Faust; her son, Byron Johnson; three brothers; and one grandchild. She is survived by her children, Clo Edwards of Salem, Joy Ritchey of Siletz, and Sue Ladwig of Bend; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and two great-great-great grandchildren. A private vaulted interment will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Gates, Ore. Memorial donations may be made to a local hospice or a charity of one's choice.
