He was born Feb. 13, 1935 to Cirilo Cardoza and Jessie Cordova in Hurley, N.M. He completed school through the ninth grade in Santa Ana, Calif. He worked throughout Orange County as a carpenter. In 1975, he married Barbara J. Blair (Harris). He enjoyed walking his pooch Chico, Angels baseball, watching John Wayne movies, and camping. He was a Christian. He was preceded in death by his brother, Daniel. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Cardoza, of Newport; his mother, Jessie; children, Christopher, Angelica, Alma and Ana; sons-in-law, Henri and Adrian; one brother; six sisters; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A funeral service and burial will be in Orange, Calif. Memorial donations may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016 or American Diabetes Association, P.O.
