Josephine was born November 30, 1925 in Des Moines, Iowa the daughter of Gerald William and Myrtle Marie (Brooks) Gray. She was a retired psychiatric social worker from Illinois, and a devoted wife and mother. Josephine was preceded in death by her husband John Winston Goudy; and is survived by daughters Tracy Jean of Newport, OR., and Paula Rae Vance of Davenport, Iowa; five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. A special thank you to everyone at the Newport Senior Center for their friendship, love, and compassion. The Avamere Rehabilitation Center of Newport for their heartfelt compassion and care, and the Atonement Lutheran Church for all their thoughts and prayers. Funeral services have been held in Newport.
