Pearlene was born in Athens, Tennessee on August 21, 1932 to Thomas and Maime Bidwell. Pearlene married Linn Dempsy Wills and four children were born to their marriage. Pearlene later married Ivy Ernest Miller. Ivy passed away in 2002. Pearlene was a loving wife, mother, & grandmother. In fact, most people who knew Pearlene called her "Grandma". She enriched the lives of everyone she knew. A greeting with arms wide open and unconditional love was a guarantee with every visit. She never turned down anyone who needed a meal or a place to stay. It was important to her that everyone felt loved and was cared for. Pearlene enjoyed everything about life. She worked mostly as a cook and bartender. She volunteered with the Gleaners and Food Share. Her flower gardens were colorful and fragrant. In her younger years she loved to drive and listen to country music. Pearlene's faith was immense. She attended the Abundant Life Center and walked with Jesus each and every day. She feared nothing and accepted everything life gave her because she knew God was beside her. Pearlene was preceded in death by her husband Ivy Miller and two of her children, Danny Wills and Johnny Wills. Pearlene is survived by her daughter Vickie Flores of the Mid to Northern Territories of California; her son: Tommy Wills Sr. of Toledo, Oregon; her grandchildren: Malcolm Little Jr. and Daniel Wills of Toledo, Oregon, Tommy Wills Jr. of Eddyville, Oregon and Fawn Forrester of Culver, Oregon. She also leaves a legacy of many nieces, nephews, cousins, great-grandchildren, and so many others who returned the love that Pearlene gave so freely. A funeral service was held at Bateman Funeral Home followed by burial at Toledo Cemetery. Bateman Funeral Home cared for the family Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
