She was born April 18, 1931 to Roy and Ollie Dean in Hazelton, Idaho. In 1953, she married Alfred Ross in Idaho. In 1962, they moved from California for a job opportunity in Phoenix, Ariz., where they were members of the Glendale Seventh-day Adventist church. They were married 42 years when Alfred passed away in 1995. In 1996, she moved to Idaho, and in 2005 she moved to Oregon to be near her son. She was a member of the Newport Seventh-day Adventist Church. She loved her poodles, sewing and knitting. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her son, Louis (Denise) Ross; daughter, Dianne (Edward) Bieri; and grandchildren, Jason, Matthew, Nicole and Mikayla. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Waldport. A private burial will take place in Glendale, Ariz.
