He was born April 6, 1957 to Fred and Marcia Sandusky in Springfield, Ore. He graduated from Astoria High School and was a long-time Astoria resident. He worked at Bumble Bee Cannery, and he spent most of his working years at the Pig 'N Pancake restaurants, most recently serving as assistant manager at the Newport Pig 'N Pancake. He retired due to illness. He was a computer ace and enjoyed building and repairing computers. He loved the outdoors, especially bicycling and hiking. He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Marcia Sandusky. He is survived by his significant other and caregiver, Sharynn Bohrer; his daughter, Lindsay Eileen Sandusky; stepson, Bryan Haskins; brother, David Sandusky; and former wife, Sonia Haskins. Memorial donations may be made to The Mario Pastega House, P.O. Box 1068, Corvallis OR 97330. A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
