He was 74. He was born Sept. 1, 1936, in Portland, Ore., to Russell and Marge Olivier. He graduated from Taft High School in 1956 and served in the National Guard for two years. He was a log truck driver in his early years and then owned his own dump truck business. He was a member of the Lincoln City Elks for 50 years. He enjoyed antique car shows, catching salmon with his son, seafood, gardening and teasing people. He is survived by three daughters, Michele McCormick and Tanya (Dan) Buchheit of Sherwood and Andrea (Danny) Price of Otis; son Jeffery (Mikki) Olivier of Clackamas, Ore.; brother Mark (Charolotte) Olivier of Enumclaw, Wash.; 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His parents and a brother, Denny Olivier, died earlier. A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 17, at Wapiti Park, 2118 S. Drift Creek Road in Lincoln City.
