Groshong James W. Groshong, 90, of Waldport, Ore., died Oct. 6, 2010 at his home. He had retired in 1982 to Lincoln County after more than 30 years as an English professor at Oregon State University. His life in retirement was enhanced by various activities: working at the county clerk's office during elections as the Democratic Party representative, attending League of Women Voters meetings and helping with their booth at the county fair, going to the Unitarian Fellowship and working with the Alsi Historical and Genealogical Society and the Lincoln County Historical Society.
