She was born Dec. 7, 1920 to Stephen and Eleanor Armstrong in Queensland, Australia. In 1939, she graduated from Jefferson Union High School in Daly City, Calif. She married Robert Parker on Aug. 12, 1963 in Santa Clara, Calif. She worked as a caregiver in a nursing home and as an in-home caregiver for over five-and-a-half years. She also worked in the office at the California Highway Patrol for many years. She loved gardening, letter writing, and her private Bible study time. She was a member of the Ustick Baptist Church in Meridian, Idaho. She was devoted to her lord and savior, Jesus, and treasured her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Parker; parents, Stephen and Eleanor Armstrong; brothers, Alexander Jasper Armstrong and Stephen B. Armstrong; and sisters, Lillian Maude Litzius and Jean Marie De Martini. She is survived by her son, Tom Fernandez of Redwood City, Calif., daughter, Cindy (Ron) Perez of Newport; grandson Matt (Stacia) Perez; great-grandson Joshua Perez; and great-granddaughter Alana Perez, all of Vancouver, Wash.
