Swinney Norman L. Swinney, 80, of Lincoln City, Ore., died Sept. 11, 2010 at his home. He was born Dec. 29, 1929 in Red Bluff, Calif. He worked 30 years for ONC Freight Lines and seven years for School District 9 in Coos Bay. He is survived by his wife, Jane Swinney; five children, four stepchildren and many grandchildren. He was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses, and a memorial will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Kingdom Hall in Lincoln City, located at 3794 SE High School Dr. Affordable Burial and Cremation in Lincoln City is handling arrangements.
