She was born May 14, 1939 to Leo Henry Jansen and Genieve Beatrice Boubeau Jansen in Wenatchee, Wash. She graduated from Wenatchee High School. She married John Leo Prabucki Sr. and was mother to six children. Her husband passed away in 1985. In 1991, she opened Video Haven in Yachats. She was a long-time employee of Charisma Gifts in Newport. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Prabucki; grandson Troy McKee and granddaughter Jessie Jane Prabucki. She is survived by her sons, John L. Prabucki Jr., James L. Prabucki, and Robert W. Prabucki, daughters, Tarie Waters, Karla (Chris) Louderbough, and Dee Anne (Richard M.) Nyhus; sister, Barbara Wenderoth; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association. A celebration of life will be at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 29, at the Waldport Port Park in Waldport. Affordable Burial and Cremation in Newport is handling arrangements.
