He was born on Nov. 24, 1943 to Roy and Blanche (Howard) Johnson in Hillsboro. He attended high school in Hillsboro, and on April 4, 1981, married Ilene Olson-Bullock. He worked for Zell Brothers in Portland and with Midco as a part-time school bus driver. He was a member of the Elks and loved to go fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Blanche Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Ilene; daughter, Karin (Lars) Nelson; stepdaughters, Cindy Bullock, Amy (Darren) Dixon and Joni (Derek) Wehr; brother, Eugene Johnson, and six grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Samaritan North Lincoln Hospice of Lincoln City. Memorial services were held privately at the family home. Bateman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
