(or C.) Long, born around 1876, or 1896 according to the 1920 census. Census records show he was born in Oregon, that his mother was born in Ohio, and his father was born in North Carolina or Scotland. I know there were many Longs in OR in the late 1800s, but I can't seem to find how Clyde Long could fit into that tree (especially if his parents weren't born in OR). I'm wondering if Clyde went by a different name, as I can't find anything of him until the 1920 census, which shows him living in Oklahoma. A search on Google books turns up a picture of a Clyde Long with a Nettie Long in "Lincoln City and the Twenty Miracle Miles" by Anne Jobbe Hall. He looks around the right age to be my ancestor.
