He was born Jan. 27, 1945, and lived in Seal Rock, Ore., attending Waldport schools. He graduated in the class of 1963. He was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He lived most of his adult life in the Redding, Calif. area until retiring to Lincoln County around 1989. He enjoyed country music, camping, fishing and visiting with family and friends. He especially enjoyed his class reunions. He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Bailey; mother, Marjorie Hagen, and stepfather, John Hagen; and sister Donna Rae Bailey. He is survived by two sons, David Christopher Bailey of Eagle Rock, Mo. and Andrew Bailey of Anderson, Calif.; brothers, Paul "Mit" Bailey of Waldport, David Bailey of Monroe, Ore., and Donald Hagen of Anchorage, Alaska; sisters, Patty Morgan of Salem, and Susan Wolfe of Corvallis; and four grandchildren. Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 4, at the Willamette National Veterans Cemetery in Portland. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
