She was adopted at the age of 6 by Paul and Elsa Kuel of Lincoln City. She graduated from Taft Elementary in 1934 and Taft High School in 1938. For several years after high school, she was a river guide on the Siletz River. She later went to beauty school in Portland. In 1956, she married Clyde Mohn. They moved from Portland in the 1970s to live on the Siletz River. She and Clyde operated a dog grooming business. She was a Jehovah's Witness for the past 54 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Mohn. She is survived by her stepdaughters, Janet Mohn and Jane (Norman) Swinney; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at the Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall in Lincoln City, 3794 SE High School Drive.
