Folsom Darold D. Folsom of Hillsboro died Feb. 10, 2010. He was 67. He was born June 29, 1942, in Hillsboro. He was a 1960 grad of Hillsboro High School and served in the U.S. Marines from 1960 to 1964. He owned and operated 1 Hour Martinizing Dry Cleaners in Lincoln City from 1973 to 1980 and the Yamhill Cafe in Yamhill from 1981 to 1998. He married Margaret Spiering in 2000. He was a member of Carlton Baptist Church, the Hillsboro Moose Lodge and the Carlton-Yamhill Lions Club. He had been a member of the Lincoln City Elks Club. His favorite hobby was golf. He is survived by his wife Margaret Folsom of Hillsboro; son Troy Folsom of Portland, daughter Sherry Simmons of Yamhill; stepsons Michael and Richard Spiering of Hillsboro; stepdaughter Linda Mobley of Blaine, Wash.; sisters Darlene Knight of Vernonia and Donna Pease of Hillsboro; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Mt. Olive Cemetery at Laurel, 15445 S.W. Campbell Road, Hillsboro. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, at Carlton Baptist Church, 546 W. Main St., Carlton, Ore. Memorial contributions may be made to Doernbecher Children's Hospital, 3181 S.W.
