His side of the family was very obscure to us. His mother, Nelly (Parker)Saety passed away when he was quite young. His father (Hubert) remarried within 3- 4 years and that was a complicated relationship. Hubert passed away before I was born and I never met his second wife, Stanley's step mother (Marie) >From what I can determine his father, Hubert's, father was Henry Saety(Sarty) born in MI about 1864. Married a Jennie from Canada, they had 6 children including another Jennie. Henry's father, Gustavus Sarty, came from Prussia, born about 1827. Gustavus's spouse was Anna, from Bavaria.
