She was born March 8, 1954 to Clay and Patricia (Reed) Brown in Klamath Falls, Ore. Her family moved often, and Terri attended schools in Bremerton, Renton and Bellevue, Wash. and Ontario and Lake Oswego, Ore., before returning to Klamath Falls for her senior year. She attended beauty school, but her dream was to be a teacher. Terri then moved to Utah to work in banking while she attended the University of Utah, where she earned her teaching degree. Her first teaching job was in the small town of Drewsey, Ore., where she taught fifth through eighth grades in one classroom. In 1988, she was hired by the Lincoln County School District to teach fifth grade at Arcadia Elementary School in Toledo. Terri also taught at Toledo Middle School, Yaquina View Elementary School and Newport Intermediate School. Terri loved teaching and worked hard to make sure each and every student was successful. She will be remembered for her love of frogs, angels and crafts that decorated her classroom, and her exceptional dedication to students. She retired in June 2012. After retirement Terri went to Selah, Wash. to be with her parents. She was preceded in death by her brother, Michael Dean Brown. She is survived by her parents, Pat and Clay Brown; brother, Charles (Cheryl) Brown of Pasco, Wash., sisters, Lori Schiewe of Newport and VirLee (David) Plummer of Medford; Cody Worden and his family, of Siletz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
