Mobley Robert E. Mobley, 73 of Newport, Ore., died Sept. 26, 2012. He was born Jan. 1, 1939 to Bernice and Kathleen Mobley in Toledo, Ore. Robert married Danna L. Patton on Sept. 19, 1965 in Lincoln City, Ore. Danna passed away in March 1995. Robert served his country proudly in the U.S. Navy on the USS Hornet. He later started King Salvage and Towing, where he was the owner/operator for more than 30 years. Robert was a member of ABATE, VA Motorcycle Association, and the BTW MC Club. He married LaNetta McRoberts on Feb. 14, 2001. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Danna; daughter, Monic Mobley; and brother, Donald Mobley. He is survived by his wife, LaNetta Mobley; brother, Richard Mobley; stepson, Erik St. Clair; son-in-law, Richard A. Inocencio; and grandchildren, Robert Inocencio, Kari Smith, Katie St. Clair, Erik Kyler St. Clair, Richard CJ Inocencio and Michael Inocencio. Graveside funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at Eureka Cemetery in Newport. Bateman Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
