She was born Aug. 10, 1947 to Jack Richard Carson and Eleanor (Hurd) Carson. She loved the Oregon coast. She was a wonderful, hard working mother who put her children ahead of everything in her life, and she was a loving grandmother. Cami, her four-legged best friend of 17 years, held a special place in her heart. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Richard Carson. She is survived by her mother and second father, Eleanor (Hurd) and Bud Wilson, of La Grande; children, Christopher (Catherine) Zimmerman of Ohio, Angie Saxton, of Newport, Ruben Montenegro of Salem, and Ashley Montenegro, of Portland; sister, Barb Doyle of La Grande; and grandchildren, Harley, Madison, Kaden, Nicole, Maggie and Quinn.
