She was born Aug. 9, 1941 to Carl C. Gill and Dorothy A. (Rodebaugh) Gill. She loved her family. She was also a wonderful artist. She enjoyed sewing, painting, music, gardening, good wine and most importantly, her grandchildren. She worked as a phlebotomist for about 10 years at Legacy Bridgeview Medical Lab in Waldport before retiring in 2008. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl C. and Dorothy Alden Gill; and her sister, Barbara Brown. She is survived by her children, Jeffrey Criner of Yachats, Barbara Koch of Marietta, Ga., Michele Jenkins of Martinsburg, W. Va., Scott Palmer of Salem, and Jennifer Rupp of Canby; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. A family celebration of life will be in October.
