He was born January 3, 1932 in Wheeling ,West Virginia. Before retiring to the Oregon coast he worked at Wilson Motors in Corvallis, OR and Toby Motors in Newport, OR. Before his stroke in 2002 Larry and Martha were avid beachcombers. Larry was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years Martha "Vaughn" Crabtree and is survived by daughters Marsha Dashney of Prescott, AZ.; Marlene and her husband Steve Shaner of Depoe Bay, OR.; grandchildren Brianne Eaton, Denee David, Brian Dashney, Bryce Shaner, and four great grandchildren.
