He was born April 29, 1949 to Donal and Betty (Taylor) Meyer in Marysville, Calif. He was passionate about and dedicated himself to the art of landscaping. He had a deep appreciation for art and music and was an advocate for peace and human rights. He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Meyer of Portland, Ore.; mother, Betty Meyer of Sutter, Calif.; brother, Wayne Meyer of Yuba City, Calif.; and sisters, Robin Meyer and Nancy Green also of Sutter, Calif. Condolences for the family of Leman Meyer may be sent to Bateman Funeral Home 915 Yaquina Heights Dr., Newport, OR 97365. Bateman Funeral Home in Newport is handling arrangements.
