Eddleman, 74, of Newport, Ore., died Nov. 2, 2010 at Newport Rehabilitation in Newport. She was born Dec. 23, 1935 to Christian and Mildred Weber in Lamar, Colo. She grew up in Lamar and Golden, Colo. and graduated from Golden High School in 1953. She attended Barnes Business College and then went to work for the Colorado School of Mines. She married Howdy Eddleman on June 23, 1956 in Golden, had two daughters, and moved with her family to Newport in 1966, where she worked for the State of Oregon for more than 30 years, retiring in 1997. She was a kind and gentle person. She loved her family, her cats, was an avid reader and enjoyed e-mailing with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Christian and Mildred Weber. She is survived by her daughters, Nancy Lynne of Toledo and Brenda Haines of Seal Rock; brother Jack (Wilma) Weber of Surprise, Ariz.; her former husband and lifelong friend, Howdy Eddleman of Newport; two grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
