Jerome Dema W. Jerome, 87, of Toledo, Ore., died Nov. 8, 2010. She was born March 31, 1923. She graduated from high school in Forsyth, Mont. and continued on to business school in Spokane, Wash. She married Walter F. Jerome, and resided in the community for 65 years. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church. She worked as a bookkeeper at several local businesses including Montgomery Ward, Lincoln Dairy and New Lincoln Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter F. Jerome, and her brother, David L. Crockett. She is survived by her children, Mary (Jerry) Miller of Portland, Ore., Don (Marianne) Jerome of Toledo and Dave (Susan) Jerome of Portland; sister, Juanita Nottingham; 19 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A private service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Eureka Cemetery in Newport.
