Watt, 66, of Otis, Ore. died June 4, 2010 at Samaritan North Lincoln Hospital in Lincoln City. She was born Aug. 30, 1943 to Dorothy Clarke and Lloyd I. Watt in San Francisco. She attended dental school to become a dental assistant and received her Bachelor of Arts degree. She worked as a dental assistant, then raised sheep on a farm and later ran a coffee house. She was a foster parent for 15 years, a child activist and a member of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates). She traveled extensively and loved it. She had a boxer dog that was her companion, and they were very close. She also raised and bred boxers. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and being involved in their lives. She loved sitting at the ocean with her sister, Linda, watching the waves go in and out. She loved butterflies, and growing beautiful plants and flowers - she always said if she had a greener thumb, they might have lived longer. She liked to try different foods and recipes. She enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress. She also enjoyed doing embroidery, needlepoint and reading. She liked listening to country and classical music, garage sales, and her boxers. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Lloyd Watt, and daughter, Lisa Buonanno. She is survived by three children, Caterina Buonanno of Newport, Robert (Melissa) of Everett, Wash. and Anthony Watt of Otis; sisters, Linda Brown of Otis, Edith Lee of Castro Valley, Calif. and Debbie Culmer of Castro Valley; and six grandchildren.
