Ulsky Sr., 89, of Toledo, Ore., died May 27, 2010 at his home. "Tony" was born July 27, 1920 to Felix and Caroline Ulskus in West Linn, Ore. After graduating from high school in West Linn, he spent two years serving honorably in the U.S. Navy, attaining the rank of 2CSV and being awarded the Asiatic Pacific Area Campaign Medal, the American Area Campaign Medal, and the World War II Victory Medal. He later worked from 1940 through 1982 at the Crown Zellerbach West Linn Mill. He married Mary Jane McFall in West Linn on Aug. 26, 1950. He was an avid sports fan. He loved fishing, cribbage, making sauerkraut and his one-of-a-kind pickles. He had a love for animals, but above all for his dog, Rusty. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Jane. He is survived by sons, Jeff Ulsky of West Linn, Jonathon Ulsky of West Linn, Timothy Ulsky of Molalla, Anthony "TJ" Ulsky Jr. of Toledo and Thomas (Deana) Ulsky of Toledo; daughters, Janell "PJ" Ulsky of Oregon City, and Lydia (Dick) Stoddard of Scotts Mills; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Burial will take place at Willamette National Cemetery at 1 p.m. on June 10. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan Pacific Communities Hospice, P.O.
