She was born June 10, 1952 in Portland, Ore. She grew up primarily in Oregon and Washington, and moved back to Oregon in 2005. She worked at Chinook Winds Casino Resort in Lincoln City as a cage cashier. Before moving to Otis, she had lived and worked in Grapeview, Wash. She loved listening to Roy Orbison, as well as any golden oldies. She loved playing cards with her sister, and she had a passion for horses. She was known by her family and friends for making great fried chicken and macaroni and cheese. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Mike. She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Robert) Carter, of Lincoln City, and Georgina Dickenson, of Otis; her son, Tim (Kim) Hauber of Tigard; one sister and brother-in-law of Otis; one sister of Salem, and one brother and sister-in-law of Olympia, Wash.; three grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. A celebration of life and potluck will be at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 19, at Wapiti Park, 2118 S. Drift Creek Road in Lincoln City. There will be signs to mark the way to the park, as well as yellow balloons. The park is at the south end of Lincoln City.
