She was 81. Becky was born July 18, 1928, in Oxford, N.Y. to Floyd and Addie Wackford. She graduated from Oxford Academy High School in 1946 and New York State Institute at Cobleskill in 1949. She worked at Susquehanna Valley Home in Binghamton as a preschool teacher and married Walter Stewart on June 2, 1951. The family moved to Sacramento, Calif., in 1957, where Becky worked as a preschool teacher and a Methodist Hospital as a housekeeper. Becky moved to Lincoln City in 2005. She attended Faith Baptist Church with her daughter Tricia, and son-in-law, Joe, as well as the Evangelical Church, with her neighbor Dorothy Bacon. She was designated reader at the Rev. George Moore's Wednesday morning Bible Study at The Dorchester House. She was a devout Christian and loved Jesus with all her heart. She also loved camping, playing cards, Wii bowling, reading and the Sacramento Kings basketball team. She is survived by her children, Ken Stewart, Kathy Hanley and Patricia Felluca; brother Reggie Wackford; sister, Lois Deuel; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Her brothers Ken and Warren died earlier. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 13, at the Evangelical Church, 4406 S.E. Highway 101, Lincoln City. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the Evangelical Church to be used for her grandchildren. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
