She was 70. Rusti was born Oct. 11, 1939, in Glasgow, Mo., the youngest daughter to Bernice and John Sowa. A wanderer and seeker of knowledge, she lived in various places throughout her lifetime including California, Washington, Arizona and Oregon, as well as a brief time in Mexico. She spent nearly 30 years living in Lincoln City, a place close to her heart that she always considered her true home. She was a one-of-a-kind - a remarkable and truly unique individual who lived life on her own terms. She will be remembered for her wisdom, generosity and humor, as well as the stories of her many adventures. She will be greatly missed by the many that knew and loved her. She is survived by her three daughters Kim, Valerie and Secret; her son Tony; her two grandsons, Jeremy and Zarr; and her great granddaughter, Emily Raine. In addition, she is survived by her brother, Eddie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her two sisters, Doris and Marion. There will be a private family service.
