Bidwell, 77, of Toledo, Ore., died May 14, 2010 at her home. She was born Nov. 22, 1932 to James Floyd and Bessie Mae Cardin in Loudon, Tenn. In 1949, at the age of 17, she married R.B. Bidwell in Tennessee. She worked at Pacific Communities Hospital as a cook for many years, at the Bumble Bee fish plant for several years in varying capacities, and was self-employed with her own business, Viking Janitorial. She was tiny in stature but was a woman full of fire. She was a funny and very witty person, but more importantly, a devoted, caring and loving mother. She loved flowers, hummingbirds, and her Yorkie, Pee-Pie. She was preceded in death by her husband, R.B. Bidwell; son, Ruel B. (Chuck) Bidwell; and grandson, Cody Davila. She is survived by daughters, Glenda Barnum of Terrebonne, Brenda Martin of Aumsville, and Linda Loper of Toledo; granddaughter, Marcy Bidwell of Toledo; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
